Design in Nature’s Service: Lecture by Plastia

🗓 March 23, 2026
📍 SUPŠ Jihlava-Helenín, Jihlava

A highlight of the first day of our project meeting in Jihlava was a lecture by Plastia Nové Veselí, a company with a strong focus on sustainable production and design, and an associated partner of the Three Voices in Green project.

During the lecture Design in Nature’s Service, participants were introduced to how sustainability principles can be applied in real manufacturing processes. Plastia shared insights into their approach to ESG, eco-friendly materials, and responsible production, demonstrating how environmental thinking can shape both design and business strategy.

The session provided a valuable connection between theoretical concepts and real-world practice, complementing the students’ presentations on ESG strategies. It also showed how companies in the field of design actively respond to current environmental challenges.

The lecture offered inspiration for students, teachers, and other guests, highlighting that sustainability is not only a topic of discussion, but a practical and essential part of modern design work and everyday life.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to Mr. Karban for his presentation and to Ms. Novotná, managing director of Plastia, for making this cooperation possible.
