Workshops for Students and Teachers in Žilina: 3D Printing & Eco-Friendly Materials

🗓 October 14–15, 2025
📍 Súkromná škola umeleckého priemyslu, Žilina

Workshop for Students and Teachers

For two full days, our international teams of students and teachers immersed themselves in the creative and technical world of 3D printing with eco-friendly materials.

Working in international groups, students explored 3D modeling and digital design. The focus was not only on mastering the tools but also on understanding the potential of 3D printing as a no-waste technology.

Designs created during the sessions were prepared as moulds for 3D printing. Casting was used for the final product creation. The results will be presented during the upcoming public exhibition on Friday.

Workshop for Teachers: Sharing Practice & Shaping Curriculum

Alongside the student sessions, teachers from Czechia, Poland, and Slovakia met to exchange experiences and reflect on how to better integrate 3D printing, circular economy, and sustainable design into their teaching practices. This will become the foundation for the final curriculum revision planned at the end of the project.
