🗓 October 13, 2025
📍 Súkromná škola umeleckého priemyslu, Žilina
Our first day in Žilina was also dedicated to an open lecture on Alternative Materials for 3D Printing.
Students, teachers, and invited members of the public gathered at the host school to explore how 3D printing can be part of a more sustainable future. The lecture introduced eco-conscious materials used in additive manufacturing.
We discussed the environmental advantages of 3D printing as a no-waste technology, particularly in rapid prototyping, small-scale production, and customized design, where traditional manufacturing might generate excess material waste.
This activity marks the beginning of an inspiring week where innovation meets responsibility, and design education embraces the tools of the future.
