During the second and third day of the project meeting, students and teachers participated in a workshop focused on virtual reality in design work.
Working in international teams, participants first explored Gravity Sketch as a tool for creative art and design in VR. They then learned how to scan real objects using 3D scanners, how to use data from digital photography, and how to import the data into virtual environments.
The workshop combined product design approaches with game design environments, as participants experimented with tools such as Unreal Engine. They tested different creative processes and explored new possibilities of immersive design.
The process also included exporting models and 3D printing them using recycled filament, documenting the workflow, and preparing posters and installations for the final exhibition.
Teachers from Poland and Slovakia job shadowed the instructors, gaining practical insight into the use of VR tools in education.
The workshop provided an innovative experience linking technology, creativity, and sustainability, and its outcomes will be presented at the final exhibition on Friday.
