📍Museum of Printing, Nowy Targ, Poland
As a part of the “Eco-art & Sustainable Thinking” topic we visited the Museum of Printing in Nowy Targ for a tour and workshop focused on traditional wood-based printing techniques.
🪵The visit began with a museum tour a lecture on the history of printing technologies, especially the legacy of letterpress and woodblock printing. Participants learned about the materials and tools used in the past—many of which were made of wood, making the process both manual and sustainable by today’s standards.
The main activity of the day was a practical workshop, during which students created prints using traditional wooden printing forms. This activity directly connected to our project’s sustainability focus by highlighting traditional, low-impact methods of artistic production.
